A gorgeous day in the Hamptons and luxury cars. Nothing screams a perfect summer day like Rand Luxury’s Hamptons Concours celebrating 75 years of Ferrari.
A private estate in the Hamptons had over 70 privately owned Ferraris. Ranging from spanking brand new to custom classic cars. Every car was decked out and shone brightly under the beautiful summer sky. No surprise, but the estimated value of all the cars was over 50 million. A personal favorite was the famous Ferrari from the hit movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Some of the attendees included Rebecca Minkoff, Mario Manningham of the New York Giants, Dina and Ali Lohan, Ian Duke, Maria and Ken Fishel, Chloe Malas, Brian Mazza, Bianca Peters, Leesa Rowland, Ann Liguori, Frank Cilione and Çağrı Kanver.
The cars were the highlight of this event, but the day would not have been complete without the amazing spread of food and drink. I was greeted with “Ferrari” sparkling wine, presented by Palm Bay and the food was provided by Lessing Hospitality Group. Everything from Lobster rolls, salads and plenty of vegan options. I’ve attended this event in years past, and the food was out of this world this year.
Producer Bradford Rand knows how to bring luxury to the Hamptons with some of these drool-worthy brands showcasing their products. Here are just some of my favorites:
marocMaroc, this newly launched US division of this already established European brand, was a show stopper. marocMaroc offers a full range of luxury beauty and skincare products. In each formula, unique Moroccan botanical ingredients are magnified through the natural textures, free of silicone and mineral oils. They have a gorgeous massage candle that is incredibly smooth on your skin.
There’s nothing better than fast cars and cigars. Cohiba Cigars: Synonymous with extravagant taste and complex flavor, true enthusiasts know Cohiba to be one of the best cigar brands around.
Did someone say luxury? Nothing more luxurious than a Rolex watch. Glenn Bradford, an award-winning jewelry designer, did not disappoint. His jewelry stores in Southampton and Port Washington were selected as one of America’s coolest jewelry stores, and I see why. His collection of rare timepieces was on display and for sale. Glenn is world renowned as a vintage Rolex + Patek Philippe expert and curates the most coveted watches for both himself and his clientele.
Kaleiya, is another fascinating brand that designs solid gold kaleidoscopes. The chamber of the kaleidoscopes is filled with stunning precious gems for an uncompromising viewing experience. They have several sizes and you can even have them engraved or have them adorned with diamonds and sapphires.
It was a hot day, but sporting a hat at an outdoor Hamptons event is a must. Kokin Boutique New York had a variety of options. Kokin, a talented milliner, has worked with celebrities, too many to list and his talent was on display that day.
Peter Elliot Blue, a long-standing New York City fashion icon, displayed its timeless collection of men’s and boy’s fashions. From shirts, shorts, belts and ties, it was not surprising to know that this brand has been a staple since 1952. Their whimsical designs are the perfect attire for any Hamptons trip.
There were Ferrari’s, but I have to give a nod to the Rolls-Royce motor cars of Manhattan. They brought a fleet of luxury vehicles. I mean, if you have a Ferrari, why not add it to your luxury car collection?
Proceeds from this event went to Breast Cancer Research Foundation and SH Animal Shelter. This yearly event isn’t only luxurious but supporting some great causes.
