Dress for Success Kicks-off Ninth Annual ‘Shop for Success’ Fundraiser with VIP Event
From Friday, December 6th through Monday, December 9th, celebrated charity Dress for Success is hosting their ninth annual ‘Shop for Success’ Fundraiser event in Westwood, a retail function where nearly 200 designer brands have provided fashionable, high-end garments, bags, shoes and more at a fraction of their sticker prices. All proceeds from the event go to the charity’s mission of creating and supporting resources that assist women in achieving their financial independence. On December 6th, the event kicked off with ‘VIP Night’, an exclusive, one-night-only opportunity for ticket holders and celebs to get the first pass at shopping, mingling, bidding in a silent auction, and above all, supporting a great cause.
Among the evening’s attendees were former model and mother of SpaceX and Tesla innovator Elon Musk, Maye Musk, as well as Entourage star Perrey Reeves. During the course of the evening, over $10,000 was raised for the charity. ‘Shop for Success’ continues all this weekend at 1101 Westwood Boulevard.
