City Harvest’s annual gala brought together celebrities, influencers, and NYC’s high-profile individuals to honor supporters who have played a significant role in helping us to feed our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The evening was hosted by Taye Diggs, and featured a live auction and dance party. Also in attendance were John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Richard Gere, Busy Philipps, Jane Krakowski, and many others.

Cardinal du Four Armagnac (CdF) was featured as part of an exclusive auction package, a four-course dinner for 20 prepared by Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, and Kristen Kish, the reigning Top Chef judging trio.  Guests will enjoy a Cardinal du Four Armagnac tasting experience alongside a one-of-a-kind CdF painted bottle by American artist Shane Guffogg, a highly-regarded leader in the contemporary abstract movement with works in multiple museum collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, and The Imperial Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia.

“We were truly honored for the opportunity to be part of this magical evening in support of such a worthwhile and important charity as City Harvest,” comments Cardinal du Four founder Christophe Namer.

Cardinal du Four (CdF), 21 Rébellion is a harmonious blend of vintage Armagnacs from 21 to 43 years of age, 30 years old on average with no sugar or caramel added, CdF 21 Rébellion personifies complexity and power with elegance and finesse. Armagnac has become the modern connoisseur’s answer to Cognac. Interestingly, many are not aware that Armagnac is 700 years old, while Cognac is 500 years old, yet year after year, Armagnac has re-emerged as a connoisseur’s drink.
