Taking part in Below Deck Mediterranean was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that has enabled Crystal Foote to travel in style while being on Bravo’s hit television show.
Foote found her experience on Below Deck Mediterranean to be genuinely transformative. It has allowed her to fulfill her dream of traveling on a luxury yacht and exploring the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. It also made her realize how much work and effort goes into ensuring that the guests have a seamless experience during their luxury travel experiences. In addition, the positive feedback the cast received from viewers worldwide was incredibly humbling and inspiring. Overall, the trip was a truly memorable experience that reinforced Crystal’s love of traveling and opened up a world of possibilities for future travel experiences.
As a philanthropist and culture advocate, Crystal has a passion for service and connecting with people. While Foote has had many incredible travel experiences, her most rewarding trip was her mission trip to Otutulu Village in Nigeria at an orphanage. It was a life-changing experience to see firsthand the challenges faced by those less fortunate and witness the resilience and hope that can be found even in the most challenging circumstances. It reminded her of the power of community and the importance of positively impacting the world.
“The biggest lesson I’ve learned in life is the importance of making a positive impact in the world,” Foote said. “Whether it’s through my personal actions or my professional work, I believe that we all have a responsibility to make the world a better place in any way we can.”
Everyone knows that travel experiences aren’t always filled with glitz, glamor and ease. Nonetheless Crystal Foote turned a challenging travel moment into a networking experience. She recalls traveling home from a business trip with her 17-month-old son, who had a full-blown meltdown because he was sleepy. As luck would have it, a highly regarded marketing executive Crystal had been trying to meet for over a year sat directly in front of them on the flight.
“Despite the chaos, I decided to strike up a conversation with the executive and share my passion for what I do (it couldn’t be passed up! I couldn’t pass up the chance),” Foote explained.
The marketing executive was very understanding and highly empathetic as she was also a working mother. The marketing executive even sent her a LinkedIn note mid-flight so that they could schedule a future meeting.
“Ultimately, I learned that sometimes the unexpected can happen, and it’s important to stay true to yourself and be honest about your situation,” Crystal Foote said. “While it may not always be comfortable, being genuine and authentic can help to build meaningful connections and open doors for prospective opportunities.”
This encounter occurred a week before Crystal Foote launched the Digital Culture Group, Digital Culture Group is a platform designed to bring forward-thinking advertisers looking for innovative solutions based on data to their businesses. When asking what advice she would give to travel enthusiasts launching businesses in 2023, Crystal responded:
“My advice for travel enthusiasts looking to launch a business in 2023 is to have a clear vision and purpose for your business,” Foote shared. “Understand the market and the needs of your target audience, and be willing to put in the time and effort to build a strong foundation. Surround yourself with a supportive network of mentors and colleagues who can provide guidance and advice. Finally, don’t be afraid to take calculated risks and learn from both your successes and failures.
