Gary Barve: Music, Creativity, Faith & the Philosophy of “I Just Do As I Feel”

By Kat Sofia Fleischman

There are artists who spend years studying their craft before stepping into the spotlight, and then there are artists whose creative journeys begin with something much more instinctive: a love of expression and an irresistible desire to simply create.

For Gary Barve, music became a new creative chapter in 2025. Without formal musical training, he began experimenting with cover songs through the Smule app before taking that passion into a professional recording studio. What followed was a remarkably ambitious expansion into original music, radio, publishing, acting, motivational speaking, entrepreneurship and comedy.

At the center of it all is an unmistakable philosophy: creativity should be experienced rather than overthought.

Gary describes himself as someone who follows his instincts, embraces new creative challenges and remains focused on the larger goals he has established for himself. His influences range from Elvis Presley and Hollywood to entrepreneurship, leadership and his Christian faith.

In this Gothamology Music & Lifestyle conversation, Gary Barve reflects on discovering music, finding inspiration, developing his personal style and pursuing an increasingly diverse creative life.

Music as a Creative Calling

  1. What first drew you to music, and what does it mean to you today?

I love music and I love creativity. I have no formal training in music, I do not play the piano or the guitar and like The One And Only King Of Music And The American Music Legend Elvis Presley, I cannot read music. However, I have been listening to music for about 30 years, I have probably heard most artists’ beautiful music since the late 1990s.

  1. How would you describe your creative journey so far?

In about March 2025 I downloaded The Smule App on my phone and recorded the awesome cover song Nothing Else Matters originally from The American Legend Metal Rock Band Metallica and released it on my social media.

I felt the Music Lovers liked my cover song and I focused more on my music releasing about 20 cover songs until October 2025.

I then went to a recording studio in Iowa and recorded my first cover song Perfect originally from Ed Sheeran, and released it in the US and across the globe under my official artist name Gary Barve For USA President.

I picked up my phone and sent many emails and messages to thousands of radio stations / radio hosts / radio personalities and asked them if they would play my cover songs and my 3 original songs that I personally wrote the lyrics for and gave rhythm and melody.

Inspiration Beyond the Studio

Gary’s creative world extends well beyond recording music. His sources of inspiration encompass faith, American culture, entertainment, business and the people he admires.

  1. What inspires you most in your everyday life?

Jesus Christ my Lord And Savior, our Patriotic Red White And Blue, our about 330,000,000 Hardworking American people, Music, Elvis Presley, Hollywood Acting, Leadership, StandUp Comedy, Entrepreneurial Leaders and Media Hosts I respect and admire.

  1. How do music and creativity influence your lifestyle?

Music And Creativity bring me joy and happiness, and the fact that my cover songs and original songs have received about 100,000,000 (Hundred Million Listens / Listeners) via about 50,000 prominent radio station spins / radio station airplays per official industry standard DRT Digital Radio Tracker & Spincounts Reports in USA and also in Germany, England, Canada, Sweden, Brazil, France, Columbia and more countries is a testament to my determined focus on the Creative Music Artform.

I am also happy to be on the Global Pop Music Spincounts Charts with awesome creative music artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and last time I checked I am one point above my friend Ed Sheeran on this Music Chart 😃

Personal Style: “I Just Do As I Feel”

For Gary, creativity isn’t limited to music. His approach to personal expression is rooted in authenticity and instinct, a philosophy he connects directly to one of his biggest cultural influences.

  1. What role does personal style and self-expression play in your life?

My personal style quotient is expressed beautifully via this one line that Elvis Presley and I say very often: I Just Do As I Feel.

That same instinctive approach appears throughout Gary’s other creative pursuits. Music has become one part of a much larger vision encompassing entertainment, writing, entrepreneurship, public speaking and politics.

  1. You’ve explored several different creative interests. What keeps you curious and motivated to try new things?

I am a Republican and above all I am a Believer In JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Savior and I am officially running for The 48th Presidency the United States Of America With About 65 Media Interviews reaching just about the complete entirety of our about 330,000,000 Hardworking Patriotic Exceptional American People and SAVE AMERICA is my main focus.

I am also a Hollywood Actor with my first Hollywood Picture / Cinema / Movie GOD for which I have personally written the crux of the script releasing in Cinema Theaters / Movie Theatres in many countries across The World in the Year 2027.

I am a Published Worldwide Author of the Book One Nation Under God available on Barnes & Noble, Amazon and Apple iBook with the most recent 2026 edition releasing in the next few days in September 2026 or October 2026 (I have already released the initial monologue for this 2026 edition on my social media), my foray into StandUp Comedy, my Motivational Speaking to inspire our about 330,000,000 American People to achieve even more success towards their bold dreams and goals in life, Entrepreneurship with my Luxury Sweet Perfume for Women and Strength Cologne for Men titled THE PRESIDENT FROM GARY BARVE with our patriotic Red White And Blue 🇺🇸 on it are success trajectory points, focus goals and determined results points that keep me motivated.

Faith, Purpose & a Fulfilling Life

For Gary, creative ambition is closely intertwined with his faith. His definition of fulfillment isn’t simply about professional achievement, but about living according to a personal spiritual framework.

  1. What does a fulfilling life look like to you?

I try to make decisions that are right and correct in the eyes of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

While I respect all religions I am Christian, I believe The Bible is the Word of God.

I am in an almost continuous state of prayer to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and all this done consistently over time has elevated my mindset quotient to a Near Eternity state of mind that brings me awesome joy and happiness.

  1. How do you stay inspired when life gets busy?

I am always inspired. My 2028 Presidential campaign slogan based on a Biblical Christian perspective is We Have Already Won And Saved America, They Just Do Not Know It Yet.

Looking Toward the Next Chapter

Rather than viewing music, acting, writing, entrepreneurship and his other pursuits as separate destinations, Gary sees them as parts of an ongoing trajectory. The next chapter, he says, is about maintaining focus while navigating the attention and opportunities that accompany success.

The Message Behind the Ambition

At the heart of Gary’s philosophy is a simple idea: pursue the goal, remain grounded in what matters and don’t allow the trappings surrounding success to become more important than the success itself.

If you could share one message about following your passions and creating the life you want, what would it be?

ONE: To the Christian people I say this: try and consistently make decisions that are right and correct in the eyes of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

TWO: Stay focused on your goals and objectives. While you can certainly enjoy and respect the peripherals that may come with your huge self achieved determined success, do not get too enamored by the peripherals that come with your success. Remember this – The peripherals that come with your success will walk away from you as soon as you walk away from your success.

THREE: For our Hardworking American people: Love Our Patriotic Red White And Blue. If You Don’t, I Will Walk Away From You 😃

The Creative Road Ahead

Gary Barve’s story is ultimately one of relentless creative expansion. What began with singing a cover song through a mobile app developed into recording-studio work, original music, international radio outreach and a broader entertainment and entrepreneurial portfolio.

His approach is unconventional, highly personal and driven by an enormous appetite for possibility. Whether through music, acting, writing, comedy, business or public life, Gary’s creative philosophy remains consistent: keep moving, keep creating and, above all, “I Just Do As I Feel.”
